Joseph Chris Carter was born March 7th,1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He started his career with the Chicago Cubs in 1983, he played 23 games with his first 9 career hits and his first RBI. After a short stay with Iowa of the American Association in 1984, he was traded to the Indians and in his first season with them he achieved 41 more RBI's and 13 Homerun's. On June 11th 1992 he hit his 4th homerun against Roger Clemens, only Carlton Fisk has more against Clemens.
